Magnification levels for this model are easily interchanged using a two-position lever located beneath the optical head as well as exchanging the pair of eye piece that are provided for situations where increased magnification is essential.

The Slit Lamp Burton 830 is able to attain magnifications of 10X, 16X, and 25.6X.
